LIGHT shines through the passionate servants of God to change lives in children and their families in the community. Pastor Jose and Teresa have the passion and discernment from the Lord to make a difference in these families… change lives through Cambiarte! Team Omaha has the privilege to come alongside of them and serve with them in July. God has orchestrated our mission trip to love on the children, hang out with the youth, build a home and build community with the ladies by the pool. We love to play with the children in the Cambiarte After School program, their faces light up with smiles, their giggles as we play games and splash in the pool together. This year, we took the children to the pool, zoo and for ice cream. We were able to have a special night with the youth, they dressed up in their ‘Sunday Bests” and had a formal dinner, sermon on purity and a dance party. Amazing night full of friendship that crossed cultures and tons of memories. God is truly moving with the youth at Cambiarte, they have the desire and passion to follow the LORD, instead of all the things of the world and darkness all around them. They are drawn to HIS LIGHT, a community of loving Christian who encourage them to serve the younger generation, lead in the worship band and follow deeply in love with the Lord… world changer!!
